TMSA Central Office

The TMSA Central Office serves as the leadership and operational hub for all TMSA Public Charter Schools across North Carolina. It ensures each campus receives the academic, administrative, and operational support necessary to provide high-quality education grounded in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM).

Led by the Superintendent, the Central Office is divided into two major divisions: Academics and Operations. Together, they guide TMSA’s growth, innovation, and commitment to excellence.

Organizational Structure

Superintendent

At the top of the TMSA network is the Superintendent, who provides strategic leadership and oversight across all schools and departments. The Superintendent ensures that TMSA’s mission, vision, and values are implemented consistently across the organization while maintaining compliance with state and federal educational standards.

Deputy Superintendent of Academics

The Academic Division focuses on advancing student achievement, instructional excellence, and curriculum development. This division oversees:

  • Curriculum, Assessment, and Accountability

  • College Readiness and Culture

  • Educational Technologies

  • Leader in Me & Alumni Programs

  • Departmental Coordination (Science/STEAM, Math, and English)

Deputy Superintendent of Operations

The Operations Division ensures that TMSA schools function efficiently and effectively. It manages:

  • Human Resources (including Benefits & Staff Development)

  • Marketing and Communications

  • Facilities Management

  • Finance (including Payroll, Accounts Payable, Lunch Program, and Budget Analysis)

  • Safety and Compliance
